Definitions
Welcome, if you're on this page you probably got here from my Artfight! This page has (alphabetical) definitions for words in character descriptions that you might be unfamiliar with.
Client
A client is a hacking accessory players can use to gain unfair advantages against their opponents. In the actual game Minecraft, clients are a single program or mod a user installs that gives them access to settings for virtually every hack created.
Bhop
bhop, bhopper, bhopping
In our personal lore, the word “client” refers moreso to the device that connects to and controls the physical object or device that allows a certain hack to function. For example, some hacks such as Jesus (allows the user to walk on water) or Fly (self explanatory) are simple enchanted charms the user holds or wears on their person. Other hacks such as Bhop (allows greater movement speed and ability) or Killaura (auto-aims attacks at the target) are mechanical devices worn on a specific part of the body, and imbued with magic to further aid in their function.
Dark Pants
In the Hypixel Pit, Dark Pants (or Darks) are a type of pants that have enchantments made specifically to combat certain normal enchantments that appear on swords or pants. A darks user can be very difficult to defeat if not prepared with a backup set of plain, unenchanted gear to swap to.
Dark- (prefix)
darkhopper, darkhunter, darkhopping, darkhunting
If a word is prefixed with “dark,” it means the subject doing the action is wearing “Dark Pants.”
Fishdupe

“Fishduping” is the name of a task a player may take of building and maintaining an obsidian ring around mid, which traps players jumping into the Pit and allows the streaker an easier time getting kills. Fishdupers also often have the job of protecting the streaker from hunters or hackers, on top of keeping the ring intact.
Hunter
hunters, hunting
A player (likely wearing darks and/or hacking) who targets and hunts down a streaker. Sometimes a group of people will get together to hunt a single streaker.
Streaker
streakers, streaking
A streaker is anyone on a killstreak (getting multiple kills without dying yourself) in the Pit. If streaking in mid, they are usually paired with a fishduper.
